Privacy Policy

The short version

Files you process with the tools on this site — images, screenshots, the text you type into the privacy policy generator — never leave your device. All of that work happens in your browser. We have no upload endpoint and no database of your content.

What we do not collect

• Images, screenshots or icons you load into any tool.
• App names, company names, emails or any other text you enter into a generator.
• Keystore paths, aliases or passwords typed into the SHA-1 helper.
• Your closed testing dates and checklist, which are stored only in your browser.

We do not have accounts, so we hold no account data. There is nothing for us to sell, and we do not sell data.

What is stored on your device

Some tools save your work in your browser’s local storage so it survives a page reload — the closed testing tracker is the main one. This data stays on your device, is readable only by this site in that browser, and is removed if you clear site data.

Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics 4 to count page views and understand which tools get used. It records technical information such as page URL, referrer, approximate location derived from IP address, and browser and device type, and it sets cookies in your browser to recognise returning visits. We use this only in aggregate, to decide which tools and guides to build next. We do not attempt to identify you personally, and we do not upload any of the files or text you process with the tools.

Google acts as a data processor for this analytics data, and its use is governed by Google’s own privacy policy. You can opt out of Google Analytics entirely by installing Google’s official browser opt-out add-on, or by blocking analytics cookies in your browser settings. Blocking it does not affect any tool on this site — every tool runs locally and works the same either way.

Advertising

This site is supported by advertising and may display ads served by Google AdSense and its partners. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to our site and other sites on the internet.

You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google’s Ads Settings, and you can opt out of third-party vendor cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info. If you are in the EEA, UK or Switzerland, you will be asked for consent before personalised advertising cookies are set.

This site links to closetesting.com and to third-party documentation such as Google’s Play Console Help. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and this one does not cover them.

Children

This site is aimed at software developers and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your rights

Because we do not hold personal data about you, there is generally nothing for us to access, export or delete on request. For data held by our advertising and analytics partners, use the opt-out mechanisms described above. If you have a question about any of this, write to closetestings@gmail.com.

Changes

We may update this policy. Changes take effect when posted on this page, and the date at the top will be updated.
