About

Play Store Toolkit is a collection of 7 free tools for Android developers who are shipping on Google Play. It exists because the same handful of tasks — writing a privacy policy, exporting icons at six sizes, making a 1024×500 banner, finding a SHA-1 fingerprint — come up on every single release, and the existing options are either paid, watermarked, or ask you to upload your artwork to somebody’s server.

How it works

Every tool here runs entirely in your browser. Image resizing happens on an HTML canvas, ZIP files are assembled in memory, and documents are generated from the values you type. There is no upload endpoint, because there is no server doing any of this work. That is also why there are no accounts: there is nothing to save.

Who built it

It is built by the team behind CloseTesting, a marketplace that connects Android developers with verified manual testers for Google Play’s closed testing requirement. Running that platform means seeing the same launch blockers over and over. These tools are the ones we kept rebuilding for people.

How this site is funded

The tools are free and will stay free. The site is supported by advertising, and by developers who go on to hire testers through CloseTesting when they get stuck on the 14-day closed testing requirement. We do not sell data, because we do not collect any — see our privacy policy for the specifics.

Accuracy

Google changes Play Console policies, asset requirements and testing rules regularly. We update these guides when we notice changes, but the official Play Console Help pages are always the authority. If you spot something out of date, tell us and we will fix it.
